Whats On Aberystwyth

We have 2 pool tables, a darts board, table football and air hockey, so there’s always something to entertain the small and big kids! (Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult until 9pm). At the rear of the bar and also have 2 large TV screens which are perfect for watching the weekly football and major sporting events on Sky Sports and ESPN. Or just sit back, relax and enjoy the picturesque views over Cardigan Bay. Our large bar area means that we aim to accommodate everyone’s requirements.

ANNUAL CHARITY RAFT RACE - Postponed for now

Raft Race at The Glengower Hotel Going into our 7th year, the Glengower Charity Raft has become an annual event in the Aberystywth calendar. However, 2012 is seeming to be a difficult year to hold the event. With the Olympic Torch passing through on the 27th of May and the Queen's Jubilee weekend at the beginning of June, it has resulted in the Raft Race having to be put on hold. We will hoping to run the event later on in the summer on August Bank Holiday weekend depending on participant interest. We will let you know how we get on and if there is a take up for this new date for the event.

The Glengower Annual Charity Raft Race will be back to normal in 2013 taking place in the month of May.
