We have 2 pool tables, a darts board, table football and air hockey, so there’s always something to entertain the small and big kids! (Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult until 9pm).  At the rear of the bar and also have 2 large TV screens which are perfect for watching the weekly football and major sporting events on Sky Sports and ESPN.  Or just sit back, relax and enjoy the picturesque views over Cardigan Bay.  Our large bar area means that we aim to accommodate everyone’s requirements.

Glengower Annual Charity Raft Race - Sunday 30th May 2010

It’s that time of year again that sees the annual Glengower’s raft race. A great day that raises money for local charities, lots of fun for both rafters and spectators alike, and then a good excuse for a couple of pints to warm up in the sun, Aberystwyth’s weather permitting!!  The race is to be held on Sunday 30th May at 2pm again weather permitting! - so plenty of time to get your heads together on the designs. We’ve seen all sorts used in the past from car inner tubes, baths, beer barrels and water butts – if it floats and keeps you afloat then you’ve got yourself the basics of a raft....simple!

All you need to do is find a team, build a raft that will be able to sail you from the shores of the Glengower down to the Pier where you will received a light refreshment to set you up for your return journey back to the Glengower......simple!!

The first team back are the winners!! Entry is £10 per team with all money raised going to the RNLI.

FREE drink for all team members who complete the race. CASH prize to be won for the winning team.
