BAR OPENING HOURS

Monday to Sunday - 12.00pm to 11.00pm 

Welcome to the Glengower...We have a spacious and inviting public lounge bar which is a regular home to many locals due to its friendly and welcoming atmosphere and its postcard picture location.  The pub is bright and spacious maintaining the traditional Victorian charm and characteristics of the building as well as giving the place a warm and homely feel.  

ENJOY A DRINK WITH US

The bar offers a wide variety of refreshments including our well kept cask ales which have been recongised by CAMRA and gained us our entry into the ‘Good Beer Guide’.  We also offer a fine selection of premium lagers and ciders along with a selective choice of wines.

Our Real Ales
We pride ourselves on our cask ales to ensure a rich and smooth taste in every pint.  We regularly change our guest ale to keep our range fresh and full of choice.  We source our guest ales from a variety of breweries including a number of Welsh favourites.  

We have been recognised by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ales) over the past 5 years as well as featuring in the "Good Beer Guide" and have also been given CASK MARQUE accreditation. If you’re not sure which ale to go for then just ask one of the team for some advice or a taster, they will happily oblige.

Our Choice of Wines
Our WINE LIST offers a selective choice of fine wines chosen to compliment the dishes on our menu as well as being a pleasure on their own.

Our choice of Malt Whiskies
If a good malt is your tipple then take a look at our top shelf and see if anything takes your fancy.  Just ask if you would like some advice on which to try.

Our Bar Menu is served all day every day offering a delicious choice of homemade British pub food.  Our talented chefs also love to try out new dishes and ideas regularly so make sure that you check out our Specials Board for today’s culinary creations.

Our homemade freshly prepared menu is served at the following times:

• Monday – Saturday 12.00pm - 8.00pm
• Sunday 12.00pm - 6.00pm.  We offer a Sunday Roast of the day alongside our normal menu

COFFEES AND HOT DRINKS

These are served all day long and are perfect for warming the cockles after a brisk walk along the parade in the colder months or to just refresh ones palate on a summer’s afternoon.  View our choice of coffees and hot drinks.

DOG FRIENDLY PUB

Well behaved dogs are welcome both inside and outside of the pub but we do request that they please be kept on a lead at all times.  If your dog would like a bowl of water and you can’t see one outside then please just at the bar and we will happily get you one.

WIFI

We have FREE WIFI available throughout the bar for all customers.  Please just ask at the bar and they will give you the code to access the internet.

PRIVATE FUNCTIONS

The Glengower can cater for private functions offering a professional and friendly service.  We can accommodate small and large parties for both formal and informal occasions.  Although we do not have a specific function room, we have a private area of the pub that is ideal for functions. It has seating available for up to 50 people.  We can offer a range of hot and cold buffets that can be tailor made to suit your requirements and budget, or for a more formal occasion we can create a seated menu again working with your budget and requirements.
